The Free Money System

November 18, 2008

Apparently, President Bush is not the only one in his administration who cannot read or spell. It’s the “Free Market System” you’re so desperately trying to save, not the “Free Money System.” M-A-R-K-E-T, George, not M-O-N-E-Y! Your buddies wanted free money- 15% taxes, free subsidies form the government to oil companies so they could purchase patents from auto companies to keep CAFÉ standards low. “Free” subsidies to keep your mismanaged insurance companies afloat, No-Bid contracts so numerous that you could not count them (i.e. more than twenty, assuming that is the sum of your fingers and toes).

No money for the auto industry now that you’re not able to control it. The Republican Nightmare is at hand: leverage to raise CAFÉ standards, control wages and terms and encourage production of efficient automobiles. The government may actually become a player in the “Free Market” system instead of a pawn in the “Free Money System.” The only real difference between Democrats and Republicans seems to be that Democrats know that they are cheating when they steal and Republicans have convinced their minions that stealing only applies to Democrats.

While the world watches and waits for Prince George to finally fart his last goodbye and mercifully step out of the golden diapers of his Presidency, they also await the blessed demise of his “Free Money System.”
